We have some Terms and Conditions listed for you which we will practice. Since you are using our platform, we will consider that you have acknowledged our detailed Terms and Conditions. If you think you cannot agree with our Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using the website. From time to time, we may update the conditions so you are requested to keep yourself updated with the new policies, terms and conditions. “The Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Website”, “System” will also refer to CitiMart. “You”, “Your”, “User” will refer to Customers and Visitors.

Registration

This is the beginning of our journey with you. Thus, we expect a complete registration. Complete means providing all the necessary information regarding delivery and transactions. Information will include your name, address, phone number, email and anything indicated. CitiMart will use your information to keep you updated about our products and services. If you use any official or workplace identification to open an account, then it is your sole responsibility to comply with the Terms, Conditions, Official Protocols and Policies. Usage of multiple accounts by the same user is highly discouraged. As a customer, you will have the right to edit your information anytime you want but need to provide accurate data. You can terminate the account if you want unless you have pending orders.

Your Account and Responsibilities

You can visit the website as a registered user or as a guest. All the sections will be accessible to you in both ways. Only registered users can avail the services. While accessing the website, you are responsible to keep the username and password safe. If you think your account is not safe, please inform us or change the password.

Charges

There are no charges for anything on the website starting from creating an account or browsing the website. Membership is also free of charge. If any paid service is launched that require fees, CitiMart will let every user know by website post. It will be in effect after it is published on the website.

Terms of Use

The website can only be used by persons who can form legal bindings under applicable law. A parent or guardian is required for individuals under the age of 18 to use the website.

Orders

You may order from the website using the tabs crafted for your ease. Our site is enriched by categories, brands and individual products. Our search engine is designed to suggest similar products you are deciding to purchase. Once you confirm your order with our website, we will deliver your product to the information provided. Any changes should be informed immediately. Once your order is received we will begin our process. If your ordered product is out of stock, we will communicate with you. If you permit, we will fulfil your order with a similar product. If you want, you can cancel the order of the product. While ordering, if you feel like the product description is conflicting with the product shown, please let us know. We will fix the issue at the earliest.

Delivery

As the order is confirmed, we will deliver the product to your doorsteps within 90 minutes. Any changes to the address must be updated before confirming the order. If you forget to update the address and get the delivery at the wrong address, you will need to pay for the delivery again at your new address. After you receive the delivery, you are requested to crosscheck the items with the receipt in front of the delivery representative. Any claim afterwards regarding damage or loss will not be liable. If you order perishable goods (fast food, vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, fish, and dairy items), our policy is no return, no exchange and no refund unless proven faulty from our side. If the customer (CitiMart Account holder) is not present at the time of delivery, the customer representative receiving the order on your behalf needs to show some authorization so that we can deliver to the right hands. If your delivery time exceeds, please let us know. We will let you know about the delivery status. CitiMart offers doorstep delivery all over Dhaka city only at 10Tk for orders above 499Tk!

Cancellation

CitiMart reserves the right to cancel any order at any time for any valid reason. Reasons may include unavailability of products, error in pricing and product description mistakes. Unverified orders will be canceled.

Payment

After placing your order, you can pay CitiMart using online payment channels as well as cash on delivery. The payment that we accept are VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and DBBL Nexus. You can pay using Mobile Financial Services which are Bkash, Rocket and Nagad.

Pricing

The actual price of the product you will be paying will be charged at the time your order is picked for delivery. This is because prices might vary due to market constraints. VAT will be charged according to Bangladesh product category law.

Exchange Policy

CitiMart ensures you a charming Exchange & Return Policy to build assurance.

We believe in the “Bond of Faith” with our customers. We want you to be copiously satisfied with the products and services you pay for. In case you change your mind, or there is any manufacturing defect or damage to the product that you receive, you can exchange it with proof (sales invoice) within 72 hours for all the products of any purchase via phone, text or email. We will be happy to offer a replacement or adjustment after proper verification.

Valid reasons to exchange an item

  • If a wrong product is delivered.
  • If a defective product is delivered.
  • If delivery is made with a missing part.
  • If the product is not similar to the one described on the website.
  • If the received product has the wrong quality and quantity.
  • If products are delivered in an unexpected condition.

Invalid reasons to exchange an item

  • If 72 hours has passed after receiving the product.
  • If product colour varies due to photography or any hardware issues.
  • If the product is not intact.
  • If the product gets damaged due to misuse.
  • If the product has been tampered
  • If the product is returned without all original packaging and accessories.

Exchange Process

Step 1: Please ensure your product meets all the conditions for exchanging.

Step 2: You are requested to contact our customer service and lodge a complaint.

Step 3: Please choose a method to exchange the product.

Step 4: The product you want to exchange will be checked for proper feedback.

Step 5: The product will be replaced if the issue is valid.

Exchanging Items Purchased from CitiMart online

If you are not satisfied with the product you receive from us, you can return it to our Delivery Assistant at the time of delivery. Rest assured, we will exchange the product with a suitable replacement. For cash on delivery, you need to pay the delivery fee only. If it is a perishable product (fast food, vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, fish, and dairy items), kindly note that we do not have an exchange or return policy for that particular segment. You need to inspect cautiously before you purchase those items.

CitiMart ensures only the premium consuming products with an extended expiry date. If you eventually receive a product with an expired date, you can immediately return it to our Delivery Assistant and we will arrange a replacement for you. In that case, you will not be charged the delivery fee.

Exchanging Items Purchased from CitiMart Retail Stores

You also have the option to exchange an unwanted item from any CitiMart store. For that, you need to bring the sales invoice with you. If it is a perishable product (fast food, vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, fish, and dairy items), kindly note that we do not have an exchange or return policy for that particular segment. You need to inspect cautiously before you purchase those items.

Supply Policy

CitiMart does not produce or manufacture any product. CitiMart is responsible for ensuring quality. If you get any product that is not up to the consumption level, we will take full accountability and will accept a return on the product. We will take care of the product with the responsible supplier. Products that are displayed on the website are subject to change as well as availability.

Modification

All Terms and Conditions will be modified from time to time. CitiMart reserves all the right to make changes to it. You are requested to check our Terms and Conditions to keep yourself updated. It will go into effect immediately upon posting on the CitiMart website. Your visit to the CitiMart website will be considered an acceptance of all Terms and Conditions posted.
