It’s time to shine some light onto the talented, underground artists that deserve a lot more recognition. Each day, we get tons of submission emails and it’s really hard to keep up with everyone.

Now, we are going to select the best ones from each week and collect them into one post.

You can always submit new releases to: submissions.EVRYDY@gmail.com

*note: if you submit material, you will be automatically added to our email newsletter*

Check out the SoundCloud playlist of these tracks at the bottom of this post as well for your convenience!

NIQLE NUT – CiNQO {EP} (Produced by Keanu Beats)

You definitely need to pay attention to this rapper outta Inglewood, California. He teamed up with Keanu Beats, who helped produce the Migos single ‘What The Price’, and delivered on this high-energy EP for the summer. On top of the flow and delivery, NIQLE NUT really takes you on a journey through where he’s from with his storytelling ability. Off the first listen, my favorites are ‘Mr. T’ and ‘Why You Here’.

Vanté Carter – Hell On Earth (Freestyle)

Came across this young rapper from Milwaukee. We don’t normally post original material, but I thought Vanté’s rapping ability deserved to be spoken on. He has a very genuine and soulful approach to his delivery while speaking on real-life topics; definitely a conscious rapper. He has very good wordplay and punchlines as well. I would say he sounds like a mix of Q-Tip and Logic; an old soul in the new generation. I definitely would like to hear original material from this young artist in the near future.

Tim Gent – Saturation (ft. Kiya Lacey & Petty) (Produced by The Antydote)

This smooth joint from Tim Gent is definitely worth a listen. It’s produced by The Antydote, who’s also worked with Isaiah Rashad & Ab-Soul, and features beautiful vocals from Kiya Lacey on the chorus and Petty on the background vocals. His delivery is on point and his lyrics really bring you into the picture he’s painting. Pay close attention to the Tennessee MC.

Nsikak – I’m Ready

This Minnesota rapper has that classic New York sound that hip hop heads love & miss. He calls himself “Dipset’s 6th Man” and I totally see why. Nsikak talks his shit throughout this entire joint, plotting his take over. Definitely pay attention to this guy.

Shaun B – Indie (Produced by SlowKings)

This joint is very wavy and intoxicating. This alternative-R&B/hip-hop sound fits in well with the current music climate so I except the ATL artist to make a serious push in the next year. His sound is waiting to be taken in by the masses!

Phillmysoul – Makeitwork {VIDEO}

A nice little vibe from Virginian artist Phillmysoul. It comes with a simple, yet to-the-point visual that adds something extra to the song. This song is featured on his ‘Faceinthecrowd’ EP which you can find on iTunes/Spotify/etc. Definitely take the time to check out this new alternative artist.
