7 Must-Listen Songs of This Week {7/23/17-7/29/17}

Congrats, you’ve made it through another week!  Just for that, we have 7 more songs that you don’t want to miss!  This week was packed with great tracks, and here’s the few that stuck out to us.  Listen, enjoy, and let us know what songs made your list!

Aminé ft. Ty Dolla $ign – Veggies

Serving as the intro to his newly released album, Veggies embodies the colorful and eccentric sound that Aminé has become known for.  With guest vocals from Ty Dolla $ign, one of the most underrated voices in the game, this song is a must listen!  Definitely give the whole record a spin as well, ‘Good For You‘ is already a 2017 standout.

Action Bronson – The Chairman’s Intent

Blue Chips 7000‘ is on the way, and everybody’s favorite super chef rapper has given us another delicious taste of what is to come!  Action comes through with an abundance of outlandish bars and hilarious one-liners, as well as delivering one of the best videos of the year.  Seriously, watch this video.

Vic Mensa ft. The-Dream – Heaven On Earth

Vic Mensa‘s album ‘The Autobiography‘ is finally upon us, and Heaven On Earth is an immediate standout.  This track demonstrates some remarkable storytelling from Vic, with a beautifully sung hook by The-Dream.  If this song doesn’t put a knot in your throat, I’m not sure what will.  I’m not going to spoil this song’s story for you, just go listen for yourself.  Give this entire album a spin for that matter, Vic delivered some truly powerful tunes on this one.

Sabrina Claudio – Belong To You

R&B songstress Sabrina Claudio has blessed our ears with a beautiful new ballad.  Belong To You feels like a soft silk blanket caressing the insides of your ears.  By the end of this song, you’re going to be wishing Sabrina really belonged to you.

Billie Eilish – idontwannabeyouanymore

15-year-old phenom Billie Eilish just dropped off her new EP titled ‘dont smile at me‘ and idontwannabeyouanymore is a shining example of her incredible talent.  This song will make you feel like the heartbroken star of a 1930’s noir-esque film as you walk down the sidewalk kicking up puddles in the pouring rain.  Billie has quite the future ahead of her, and I’m excited to see where she goes.

Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire – Strawberry Waterfalls

Mr. X is back, and he’s brought a new EP with him!  ‘Brainiac‘ gives us 6 new tracks from X, and Strawberry Waterfalls is an early favorite.  With production from The Alchemist, we get a taste of X‘s more sensual side as he channels his inner 90’s R&B superstar.  Save this one for a late night with your special someone, and be sure to bring lots of champagne and rose petals.

Tee Grizzley – Teetroit

Tee Grizzley has returned with another banger that further proves why he’s one of the most promising new faces in Rap.  Teetroit finds Tee giving a grim and bloody rundown of his hometown over an eerie, trap-flavored beat that has a bounce strong enough to support his ferocious flow.  Detroit should be proud of this one.

Okay, I know it’s usually 7 songs every week… but we have a SPECIAL bonus addition track.

Parke x shanks. – Scarface

Parke is a 19-year-old R&B artist from Los Angeles, and he teams up with Toronto-born producer shanks. for a new release called “Scarface”. The song samples Sade’s “Mr. Wrong”, and that really sets off the dark mood for the track. Check this one above and watch out for more work from these two.
