7 Must-Listen Songs Of This Week {7/16/17 – 7/22/17}

Another week has arrived, which means we have another 7 tracks that you need to hear!  There was a ton of great music released this week, so we have compiled a list of songs that you definitely don’t want to miss.

Tyler, The Creator – Ain’t Got Time

Tyler has dropped off another single from his upcoming album, ‘Flower Boy‘, which is set to release this week!  Continuing the colorful production of the first three singles, Ain’t Got Time is another banger with a beat that only Tyler could have crafted himself.  Be sure to check out the full album, when it releases on July 21st!

joji – rain on me

joji is back with another beautifully melancholy ballad that is sure to tug at your heart strings.  If you’re unaware of joji, you may know him by his YouTube alias TVFilthyFrank, where his outrageously offensive musical character, Pink Guy, releases music sure to make you squirm in discomfort.  On the opposite end of the spectrum lies joji, where George (aka FilthyFrank) allows his more serious artistic vision to live.  Give this record a spin and you’ll see the immense amount of talent joji has to offer.

A-Trak ft. Quavo & Lil Yachty – Believe

Infamous producer, A-Trak, has recruited Quavo and Lil Yachty for his latest single!  Believe has a colorful beat that radiates summer vibes, with both Quavo and Yachty delivering equally playful verses that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Conway The Machine ft. Meyhem Lauren – Moroccan Waters

If colorful, happy rap isn’t your cup of tea, no need to fear, Conway has delivered a grimy new cut featuring fellow New York native, Meyhem Lauren.  The two trade bars over an eery guitar sample with a nocturnal beat that embodies that signature New York grittiness.

Meek Mill – 1942 Flows

Meek premiered his new album ‘Wins & Losses‘ this week, and 1942 Flows is an early standout.  With Meek sounding hungry as ever, his aggressive flow is on perfect display with this track.  We even find Meek singing on the hook of this song, and it surprisingly goes over extremely well.  Be sure to give the rest of this album a spin as well!

Nyck @ Knight – All Night

Nyck Caution and Kirk Knight have finally released their long awaited collaborative project, ‘Nyck @ Knight‘!  I highly recommend giving this entire record a spin, (because it is pure heat), but if you need some convincing, listen to All Night and I guarantee you will be clicking that link for the album before it finishes.  Pro Era has proved once again that their talent runs much deeper than Joey Bada$$.

A$AP Twelvyy ft. A$AP Rocky – Diamonds

With his highly anticipated debut album, ‘12, right around the corner, A$AP Twelvyy has given us a new single featuring fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Rocky.  Diamonds, produced by FNZ and Jim Jonsin, samples Phantogram’s Mouthful of Diamonds and flips it into a moody and nocturnal soundscape that the two float over effortlessly.  With three stellar singles under his belt, I look forward to seeing what Twelvyy delivers on his full length debut.
