Please allow me a late pass for Volume 15. As per the description of the #SilasSundays series here on EVRYDY, this playlist featuring some of the best songs from artists you may or may not have heard of are neatly afforded to you conveniently in the form of a SoundCloud set on a weekly basis. Last weekend I was mostly impaired, inebriated, incapacitated, out of commission due to the biggest sporting event in the United States: Super Bowl Sunday. I apologize for the tardiness but without further ado, I present to you Volume 15 of the #SilasSundays collection. This week, like all weeks, include a flavorful blend of Hip-Hop, RnB, Funk, Soul, Electronic, and Rock music with the best of the best signified by the bold declaration in the playlist below. The cover photo for Volume 15 was inspired by my pettiness. Sports fans know this image well. For non-sports fans or international readers, let me explain something real quick. Last Sunday, February 5, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots completed one of the best comebacks in Championship American Football history, en-route to their unprecedented 5th Super Bowl title in 17 years.

The New England Patriots went to the Super Bowl 2 other times during this 17-year run for a grand total of 7 appearances. Unfortunately for those wingdings, the Patriots had to face a brick wall of an opponent that led to noticeable blemishes on their resume. Who constructed the obstructing brick wall in 2007 and yet again in 2011? That’s right baby, my NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS DID!

During the past week, to elevate my sunken mood out of the doldrums of football sadness, I’ve watched the highlight film of both Super Bowls where the Giants improbably defeated the Patriots by the narrowest of margins. If you even remotely like sports and have never watched the recap of these incredible Super Bowl match-ups, do yourself a favor and press play, below. If you’re a Patriots fan, block me on every social media account, quit crying about this post, you just won a Super Bowl. Let me enjoy this while I can. ~200 days until football starts again!
