As far as hip hop goes, 2016 definitely belonged to TDE. The LA-based rap label started their year with Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered project, which consisted of a few leftovers from his Grammy-award winning album To Pimp a Butterfly. Since that, TDE released 4 more albums but Kendrick was only truly featured on one of them. He had minor vocal parts on ScHoolboy Q’s Black Face LP, but nothing that qualified as an official feature.

Kendrick took the back seat last year to let his peers ScHoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad & Ab-Soul shine, but he still came through with the features like always. Below are the best 7 features from Kendrick Lamar over the past year.

Mistah F.A.B. – Survive (ft. Kendrick Lamar, Crooked I & Kobe Honeycutt)

Isaiah Rashad – Wat’s Wrong (ft. Zacari & Kendrick Lamar)

Travis Scott – Goosebumps (ft. Kendrick Lamar)

Kanye West – No More Parties In LA (ft. Kendrick Lamar)

Danny Brown – Really Doe (ft. Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul & Earl Sweatshirt)

Beyoncé – Freedom (ft. Kendrick Lamar)

Mac Miller – God Is Fair, Sexy, Nasty (ft. Kendrick Lamar)
